Booking Information

*Reservations are required*

Kanaloa Octopus Farm currently offers three public tours, available daily: 10 AM, 2 PM, and 4 PM, as well as a private tour option at 12 pm (please see below). Cost of Admission for the public tours is $60 for general tickets and $40 for children 5 and under.  Infants under 2 are free.

All tours last about an hour, and include a short introduction about octopuses and our research, a chance to interact with the octopuses, as well as the opportunity to feed them.

Booking is only available online. To book a tour, please click on the “Book a Tour” button found at the top right on the menu bar. This link will give you live availability for our tours.

Please note: if the date is grayed out on the calendar, that date is fully booked and no longer available for tours; please do not show up expecting a tour without a reservation. Due to the size of our facility, we are unable to overbook our tours.

We highly recommend booking a tour at LEAST a week in advance, to ensure you get the tour time and date that works best for you.

If you need to change your reservation in any way (time, date, number of guests, etc.), please email us at info@kanaloaoctopus.com with your name and booking number. Bookings can be fully refunded as long as it is canceled at least 48 hours prior to your tour date.

Private Tours

Kanaloa Octopus Farm offers a private tour option for groups who want a personalized and private experience or for professional filming crews to eliminate background noise.

The price is $250 per person, with a five (5) person minimum to run a private tour. These special tours are offered exclusively at 12:00 PM and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate you.

The information is similar to what is offered on our public tours, as is the tour agenda: we start with a brief introduction to our work, followed by rules for interacting with the octopus. From there, we cover octopus biology and life history parameters. At the end of the tour, we then have the opportunity to feed the octopuses.
